I was born in Chicago, but grew up in a small town in upstate of New York, close to the Canadian border and within an hour of Montreal. I moved to Charlotte in 1996 after graduating from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Plattsburgh with a bachelors degree in Business Management.

 

Since living in Charlotte, I have lived all over, spanning from Waxhaw to Huntersville and lots of places in between. My current home is in the lovely town of Waxhaw, a smaller community on the south side of Charlotte, close to the SC border. My family moved here in 2018, and have enjoyed the area immensely. It reminds me of my small town in upstate NY, with it’s strong community feel.  

 

I started my career in real estate in 2008. Right when the real estate market took a dive, and it was a hard time to begin in real estate. There were very little buyers in the market, and sellers had a very hard time selling their home for the value they had acquired it, much less making a profit. I know this start in real estate allowed me to establish great business practices that carried me through the recession and into this current real estate environment. 

Through it all I have stayed focused on the fundamentals of real estate. My strengths in real estate include the ability to work with a wide variety of personalities while keeping a cool head and partnering mindset. I have developed excellent marketing skills, to not only market properties for sale, but to find off market, or coming soon properties to ensure the best chance for both my seller and buyer clients. I also pride myself on the ability to think outside of the box and come up with creative solutions to any potential issues that may arise in a real estate transaction.

   

The final area of strength for me is my knowledge of real estate investing. I have been investing in real estate since 2008. My personal real estate experience runs the gamut from rentals to flips to new construction. Throughout this journey, property investing has become a real passion of mine. I have seen how it has changed my family’s financial future, and I love to help others experience those changes as well. 

 

Outside of real estate, I love spending time with my family. I have two kids, Abigale and Harrison, and a loving husband who works with me in our real estate business. We enjoy spending time going on vacations, enjoying our community events, and keeping fit and active.
